Happy Notebook Day!

Okay, this is really a big day for all notebookers because it is National Notebook Day! It is also the day I get to takeover Sharing Our Notebooks but that isn’t really important right now. Anyways, I wanted to share with you some ideas for what to write on National Notebook Day……..in a poem!

What to write today

You could write about how you ferociously beat boredom

Or how you finally mastered the art of calligraphy (which I haven’t)

You could write about your favorite dessert

Or how you were nominated for an Oscar…….But you were absent

You could write about a fake planet named after you

Or how you beat all odds too

You could write about how many Rubix cubes you have solved

Or maybe just two

You could write about National Notebook day

Now that I think about it

Or write a script for a play

I bet it would be lit

Notebooking is our way of sharing our thoughts and ideas. It’s how we express ourselves. I chose to do my blog post like this because first, we are learning about poetry second, because we are supposed to “Share our notebooks” and third, It’s (NND) National Notebook Day! I hope everyone and I mean everyone! You NEED to write today no matter what and I hope you have a happy National Notebook Day!

Hi, I’m Divya a student in Ms. Haseltine’s 6th-grade English class. I go to Brambleton Middle school and I have lived here in Virginia all my life. I love to read, write, watch Netflix, eat all the food in the fridge while watching Netflix, and swim! I’m pretty sure If I didn’t have Ms.Haseltine as my teacher this year, writing would not be on my list. Ms.Haseltine got me and my friends addicted to writing.
