Try This! - Answer these Three Questions

From Ann Wilson:

What surprised you today?

For me it was trying to not work or use technology for a whole day and how difficult this turned out to be!

What touched you or moved you?

For me it was an elderly couple holding hands as they strolled     slowly around the swimming pool.

What inspired you?

For me it was when I glanced up and saw that delicate branch of maple leaves lit up - a translucent golden red in the afternoon     sun.

In the book, MY GRANDFATHER'S BLESSINGS, Rachel Naomi Remen (drawing on the work of Angeles Arrien) suggests taking 15 minutes at the end of each day to jot down answers to these 3 questions:

  • What surprised you today?
  • What moved or touched you?
  • What inspired you?

This is my new project for the summer and you can do it too. Just write the 3 questions in your journal and you're ready to go!
